Above the clouds

I was way above the clouds as I rode the Pugsley to work today. I rode it to work so some of my co-workers could take a look. Their reactions were pretty much the same with the initial reaction from most being "Holy Sh--!". Seeing it in pictures is one thing, but seeing those monster tires in person the first time is an experience that is hard to describe.

Today was one of those near perfect fall days that I live for. Too bad I spent most of it indoors at work. That's the great part about bike commuting. It at least gives you some time outdoors that you would have normally spent in a car. The morning commute temp was 46 degrees and the afternoon temp was 74 with a clear sky, very dry air and no wind. I got home and turned around and went back out on the road bike for another 26 glorious miles. It doesn't get much better then this.
