Just in from Alaska, new equipment for the Surly Pugsley
When buying up equipment last year for my first attempt at the Arrowhead 135, I really wanted to get a frame bag for the Pugsley. However, I spent so much money on other equipment, bicycle related, clothing and required winter camping gear, that the frame bag fell down to the bottom of the list of priority items. Also , there are very few options when shopping for a frame bag for a Pugsley. Unless you're really good with a sewing machine and can make your own. I'm not. Enter Wildfire Designs Bicycles based in Alaska. They sell a fat tire bike of their own and make a frame bag in various sizes.
If you are in the market for a frame bag of your own contact Wildfire Designs. They have them in stock now!!
Each day the legs seem to be coming back more and more. Stretched the ride home a bit and plan on some longer rides this weekend. Most likely I'll be sticking to the roads. It's the last weekend for firearm deer season in this part of Minnesota. I'm looking forward to hitting the trails soon without having to worry about getting shot.
