First trip on the LHT was a success!
I got back at 5:00 this afternoon. Three days, two nights, and 231 miles. I had a good ride. I'm lovin' the Surly Long Haul Trucker more than ever. I'm tired and don't want to get up and go to work tomorrow. Full trip report in a day or two.
Two of my main interests when I am not working are bicycling and backpacking. I write about my adventures in my bicycle commuting blog and my hiking/backpacking blog. I am 45 years old. I currently live in Duluth, MN.

Congrats, hope you had a great trip which I'm sure you would have. Can't wait to hear the details.
I'm telling you, Doug, I'm *this* close to buying a LHT.
Yay! What a great way to spend a weekend. The LHT is truly an amazing machine. You are challenging us to take it to the next level!
Loved meeting you and Susan!
Looking forward.
Congrats! My wife and I are leaving Saturday for our annual tour of Vancouver Island but our first on our LHTs. Am very much looking forward to it.
BTW very nice LHT you got there, is your name painted on or is that a sticker you had made? Who did it?
Cheers!
